True friendship uplifts and brings out the sparkle in us. True friendship is also honest, but in a safe, uplifting, supportive and non-judgmental way. A rare jewell in a shallow world full of nay-sayers and pull-you-downers.

I also want to say that I love we're both so aligned with this theme right now.

A deep and sweet post. “Mirror and catalyst”

Well ooof. I kept highlighting quotes and it really feels like you wrote this about me lol.

But this was the first point that made my breath catch: “For years, I mistook proximity for connection. I invited people into my orbit because they were nearby, because it was convenient, and, frankly, because I didn’t want to feel alone again. Some of those friendships were fine for a season, but many were transactional, built on circumstance rather than truth.”

I’m glad that I now assess friendships and don’t just stay because of proximity. And the ones that have lasted mean the world and we can always just pick up where we left off. ❤️

I recognize those fast friends! Gosh, it's been such a profound blessing to walk together all these years. You are a treasure I cherish each day. ❤️
